At Let'Spanish We have developed our curriculum following the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

What is the CEFR?

The CEFR is the basis for the elaboration of language syllabi, curriculum guidelines, testing and teaching materials for all of Europe. It describes what language learners need to do to effectively communicate within each language cultural context.

The CEFR is an international standard for working out your ability within a language, defines levels of proficiency and provides an assessment of progress at each stage of a language.

Which ones are the Different CEFR Levels:

battery

A1 – Beginner / Breakthrough

• Ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
• Focusing on producing simple interactions and expressions.

B2 – Upper Intermediate/ Vantage

• Understand complex ideas concrete and abstract topics
• Be able to communicate efficiently without too much hiccups
• Write detail texts on a wide range of subjects

A2 – Elementary / Waystage

• Understand frequent expressions and interactions such as shopping, family and
employment
• Simple communications on tasks that require exchange of information on familiar and routine matters

C1 – Advanced / Proficiency

• Communicate and Understand paragraphs of conversation
• Express ideas and effectively use the language in social, academic or  professional situation
• Write detail texts on complex topics

B1 – Intermediate / Threshold

• Understand main points about family, work, school or leisure-related topics.
• Deal with situations when travelling abroad in Spanish speaking countries
• Describe events, dreams and ambitions and opinions

C2 – Proficient / Mastery

• Understand everything read or heard
• Summarize information from a variety of sources to a presentation
• Express meaning in complex scenarios.
